“For most of my adult life migraine had been having an increasing impact on my life and on my family. My GP, always supportive, had said that there was no further medication he could offer except beta blockers, and I had tried several complementary therapies to little effect. When my son mentioned that one of his employees had found acupuncture helpful for migraine I decided to give it a try. The therapist who had been recommended was not practising when I enquired, but passed my name on to Jeff Cross, who was recently qualified at that time.
